Looks great! I love the color!

I dye my naturally dark blonde hair light blonde every month, but I used to do dark reddish brown and the results were always good. I think brown is even easier than blonde because of the brassiness factor. Given my experience with salons, I always say that if I mess it up at home I know how to fix it.;)

cigarette ash? wow-I would have never thought of that!

I'm so glad it turned out well and you're happy with it!

Try a bit of baking soda mixed with water to get the dye off the cabinet (I sprinkled some on a damp sponge).
