how can i colored diamond chemically

i heared it done by mercuric oxide where it form red color

how could i colored the diamond using mercury pease tell me the procedure

Honestly, this is too risky to make a mistake and I would let an expert handle it. I''m not sure how the process of irradiading works, but it usually is to make blue diamonds I believe.
