colored suprise diamonds?

I''m beginning the process of researching designs for a new setting for my engagement ring. I am looking into 3 and 5 stone settings and want to create a custom design. I love suprise diamonds and was wondering if anyone has a ring with colored suprise diamonds... I was thinking of blue diamonds. Do you think the colored stones would detract from the look of the ring or be too much? Any thoughts?

I have two pink surprise diamonds in my setting. I never notice them because I didn''t want the pinks to be too vibrant - would I do it again .. probably not.
