I''ve spent A LOT of time staring at my ring recently in all kinds of lighting conditions... and even indoors with yellowish lighting my F (which is admittedly a high F) is just plain WHITE. That''s not to say that it doesn''t flash other colors... but as it''s an asscher it''s subtle about it and well... even when it''s flashing blues and pinks ... it''s freaking white. REALLY white. I don''t think I''ve ever worn a D but I have trouble imagining a white stone than this one.

So I was wondering if this is normal in an F...lol. AND What people with similar, or completely different colors have experienced in terms of color from their diamond, and also for those of you that have multiple diamonds especially of differing colors... what you all have noticed.

Just thought a general thread about color would be nice. Not in terms of ''this is the lowest/ highest I would go'' ... but more in terms of observations of your diamond (s).

My first upgrade was an E and it was amazing. Now, I have a G and one of the diamond sites stated that G H and I will only show yellow when unset and only a really trained jeweler can tell. Who knows? I like the way my ring looks and so I am pleased, of course, could I have been happy with D E or F? yes, but the visual difference is likely negligible and the cost difference huge...colorless and near colorless are pretty close to me! PS I am glad you are loving yours!

I have an F too and I can''t imagine anything whiter than this. I''ve looked at it in all lighting conditions and you can''t see any color from any angle, not the top nor the side. We had originally planned to get a D or E, but I''m very happy we went with the F.

My upgrade princess e-ring is an E and the trills on either side are E''s as well. The diamonds are icy,icy white and because it''s a well-cut princess as well, it sparkles like crazy--all the colours of the rainbow. Matching princess w-band is E-F and I love the look of it as well.

I looked at some different rbs of the same cut etc and continually picked the G and H colors as the ones I liked better without knowing one color from the other, and only ever those two grades. I guess I like the colors in the fire more, strange but true...

I had an H out for a test drive yesterday and it was white as could be when it was not sparkling but that was probably the cut influence.
