As I''m still on my journey to the perfect setting for me, its finally winding down with (I think lol) a G&A Tension Setting. I''ve read conflicting things concerning color treated diamonds, though.

Can a color treated (enhanced?) diamond be used in a tension setting?

Clarity enhancement is a problem, color treatment is not. The compression on the stone by tension settings requires that a stone be fairly pure and not have things like knife edge girdles or it can damage them and although clarity enhancement makes the feathers less visible, they're still there and they pose the same durability risk that they did before. Color treatment on the other hand, either by HPHT or irradiation, has no affect on durability.
