Hi all,

I''m curious how many color grades difference one could go before it would be noticable if earrings and pendant were different grades. My earrings are F color and would an H color (assuming same ACA-type stone) pendant look obviously warmer?

I think an H would be fine. If it were a very large stone, you might see a tad difference maybe.

I think they'd be fine. Technically, you should be able to go within 2 color grades in the same ring...so it should be fine with a pendant.

(What are you up to...sneaky little devil? I thought you said you pushed the budget over on your earrings. Spill it girl!!!)

If you went to a store and matched them up, 16" apart from head to neck, you might find even an "I" in color would work.

Might be fun just to go to a store and try a few on :)

Let us know how that works so we can pass on the information.

my ring is a ''g''
my pendant is an ''i''
my earrings are ''j''
(all aca''s)
they all look sparkly white. there is no noticable difference.

I think an H pendant would be fine. I want to know what you''re up to too MC! Yes, spill it!

Thanks everyone!

I''m not exactly sure what I''m up to yet, so I can''t fill in the details! lol I am planning a bigger purchase next year for my 10th anniversary, BUT, in the meantime, I think I may hunt down a small stone and have it set as a pendant. I was looking at some lower color stones and they are *so affordable*. How can I pass up a cute little ACA pendant for under $700?

(oh, also, my DH was suppose to spend a set budget for a hot tub and went WAY over his amount, so after he gets it all installed and he is content, I will mention how lonely my earrings all by themselves! lol)
