I went to the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. It was a nice, small school with incredible professors and small classes (exactly what was important to me).

I just finished my undergrad at UCF and so did FF and we will both get our masters from there, and hopefully his MD from there :-)

I have 3 semesters left at the University of Southern Mississippi. To the Top!

(Don''t be fooled, I have no school spirit.. I am a fan of Mississippi State where SO went. Go Bulldogs!)

I went to University of California, Davis (GO AGGIES!) and Sacramento State for my masters degree.

undergrad was at Brown University. Its definitely not known for its athletics program

but I LOVED it - it was such an awesome school experience, plus I met my DH

Illinois State University - Go You Redbirds!

ME TOO! When did you graduate!?! I graduated in 2006!

My sister''s BF graduated from ISU in 2007, I think. He studied education too, maybe you two knew each other, Blair! His name is Lane, can''t be many of them. He now teaches high school physics in the burbs.

Hmm..I did not know a Lane-was he in a fraternity? I was only at ISU 2 years , I went to community college before...Haven-this is freaky how close in proximity we are, location and people wise now-I bet we''ve been in the same place at the same time and have not even known it!!

Wow, cool! I wasn''t expecting that there would be other Mohos here, even though I checked the thread again half hoping there would be!

What was your major, if you don''t mind my asking?

I went to Washington University in St. Louis (yes, that is really the proper name!). It''s a stellar school, but not as well-known as its comparables outside of the midwest. I didn''t enjoy my college years as much as I would have liked (after freshman year

); I was studying like crazy- Wash U is well known for its ridiculously intense premed competition. Still lots of good times though.

My hubby went to University at Buffalo, where he did a heck of a lot less work than I did

Hi there, I went to St. Louis University. Hello neighbor!

San Diego State University here!

I went to Tulane University and the University of Pennsylvania for my M.Ed. My partner went to the University of Georgia for undergrad and Tulane for medical school.

For undergrad, I was at a state school in Maryland called Towson University (for their excellent teaching program and their good music program, since I did instrumental music education for my B.S.). Just finished (assuming I passed my thesis) grad school at the University of Cambridge in England, again in education (this time special needs). Wasn''t a huge fan of either school, to be honest, which sucks considering how expensive school is!

Boston University for me and Northeastern for DH.

I went to NYU so I understand the no athletics program thing! But I was in NYC and you can''t beat that...sure makes you grow up quick, and I met my FI there too! I went to Fordham for my JD.

I went to Bucknell, which is a small liberal arts school in central PA that is unfortunately now best known for their basketball team. I loved the education I got there, and loved the small town scenery, but hated the student climate/lack of diversity!

Michigan State!

That''s so funny Zoe - I was class of ''04, but a lot of my friends are from ''02 (people that I didn''t know in school but met once I moved out to California).

I had a double major in history and German studies. I''m lucky because my husband''s family lives in the area (he went to UMass), so we get to go up there to visit. I love Western Mass...in the summer!

Hubby and I went to Ohio Wesleyan University.

I never knew that, Lisa. I don't know much about the school, but one of my very best friends in high school started out her college career there. I always associate the school with her. She was a great woman. (And, I am sure, still is!)

I figured I couldn''t be the only one! Where did you live on campus? I lived in O''Neill, which I believe opened the fall after you graduated. Not much tradition, but it was nice and air conditioned!

My husband and I went to large, urban schools without sports or fraternities/sororities. Or, maybe because of the times, no one was doing that Greek stuff. (No one even called it "Greek" stuff! The only Greek being done was by my husband who was studying the classics!)

We had no football, no team spirit, no mascots. I think we probably had a lower drinking age, however. It varied from state to state in those days. I very much doubt I was drinking illegally and I know that after summer classes ended when I finished summer school at UC Berkeley one summer that I drank a lot of wine. I was either 18 or 20. Those were the two years I went to summer school out there ;-). For me fall through spring was at NYU (New York University) as an undergrad and for my first master''s degree (in history). My husband got his Laurea in Genoa, Italy and his first master''s degree from Harvard (in classics). I stayed at NYU to work towards a Ph.D. which I never finished. He went on to Philadelphia to get an MBA from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania. Later, at 29, I went back to school (Fordham University in New York) to get a Masters in Social Work (MSW).
