Would you guys please share some closed-basket ring designs? I can't seem to find it anywhere really.

Alistair Kelsey has some closed basket designs:

What stone are you willing to set? In general I would advise an open basket to allow cleaning of the stone.

Blue spinel. I agree, but I'm considering a closed basket for a couple of my gems due to a window in them.

Be careful not to trade one set of problems for another set. It could end up “killing” all colour.

Love your rings Acinom, just beautiful. You have quite an eye for design.

What would you suggest for a windowed stone?

Can you post pics of the stones? I’m thinking enclosed but not totally closed, depending on size, depth, colour, and other variables.

I have found that just getting metal under the window can help without enclosing the entire basket.
For example, the X of metal under the stone in this setting should help to close up a small window.

or this one has even more metal under the stone, but you can still get a brush through the openings in the basket to clean the stone
