CLASSIC TIFFANY SOLITARE SETTING

hello ps,

is a 4 prong tiffany setting also considered the "classic tiffany solitaire setting" or is that only reserved for the 6 prong?

There are four prong solitaires but the Classic Tiffany Solitaire is the six prong ring that Tiffany & Co. makes. All others are just replicas and companies do make a four prong version. Tiffany & Co. does not. I was told that their other round brillant stones with sidestones and the like feature only four prongs for the center stone - none of them have six prongs.
