Clasp on WF Three Prong Bracelet

hi all-

can WF three prong tennis bracelet owners let me know how you like your bracelets and what you think of the clasp? could you post pics of the clasp? it looks big and bulky to me in pictures but that could be because they''re taken in macro. i did a search and only found a couple of threads that addressed the clasp so i was hoping other could post pics of theirs. thanks!

I have a 3ctw 3-prong bracelet from WF. The clasp is pretty small in my mind and I feel very secure wearing it every day. I am a RN and take gloves on and off all day and have never had an issue. I do not visually notice the clasp very much at all. I can''t feel it when I am wearing it and I like my bracelets on the snug side. There are 4 diamonds set on the top of the clasp so it blends right in with the bracelet. I will try and take a few pics tonight when I get home from work.

It''s a great everyday bracelet! I get compliments all the time on it.

What size are you going to get?!!?

I have the WF 3 carat bracelet and my clasp looks different from KT''s. It looks more like the picture that Swingirl posted.

I have a gold and diamond bracelet that has the same clasp that KtIceRN shows. It is extremely secure, to the point that I often have a lot of difficulty removing the bracelet at the end of the day. The safety hinge opens easily, but I have a lot of problems getting the little tension-loaded U insert to release. Sometimes my fingers end up all bruised from trying to push it open (I think the idea is to push the U together so that the insert slides out easily). Just wondering if yours opens easily, or if this is a quirk of my particular clasp?

hmm, i thought the clasps differed because of ctw. but yours and kt's are both 3 ctw. i'm going to do some digging and see what i find.

The clasps (both regular and safety) are very secure on my bracelet to the point that when I am ready to take it off, I have to have my husband help me with it. I am unable to get the bracelet off on my own. When I first got it, the safety clasp was pretty loose, and I was able to get it off easily on my own. One night the safety clasp fell off, and I sent it back to Whiteflash to put a new one on. The new one they put on is very tight, but it''s better that way. Then you don''t have to worry about losing your bracelet. And you never want to lose this bracelet because quite honestly, it is a beautiful bracelet. I''ve never seen one as nice even in a high end jewelry store.

WF told me all the clasps are the same but apparently they''re not. none of your bracelets were custom made with a different clasp, right? i''m sure you would''ve mentioned it if that was the case.

Sugar, I can probably clear this up for you.
My bracelet is not custom but it is not the exact one on the website either. I had forgotten about that. I wanted the stones to be a bit closer together so I chose another bracelet the WF had gotten for a girl named Flower12 rather than the one on the site. They can get either option I believe it is up to your preference, not sure if there is a price difference you'll have to ask them that. Mine has a few more stones than the catalog one but they are also a bit smaller. They still are both 3ctw. I believe that is why the clasps are different. HTH.

ok, mystery solved. apparently there are two different settings for that bracelet: one with less metal around the stones with a bigger clasp and one with more metal around the stones with a smaller clasp.

so kt, i think yours and flower12''s is the one with less metal around the stones with the bigger clasp; whereas coda has the one with more metal but smaller clasp. WF tells me the two settings don''t look much different at all so guess it comes down to which clasp one prefers.
