I am going to city hall this Friday to get married, and was wondering should I have a bouquet? I don''t if it''s wierd to walk in the court house carrying a bouqet.
My friend wore a white suit and carried a bouquet. We also saw other brides do this. It was only her, her husband, and me as a witness. I say "Go For it!!" It''s your wedding day.
Also, I don''t know if it is this way everywhere, but the room at City Hall in which she got married was decorated with an arch and silk flowers. It was a retired judge who took care of the paperwork, and she actually read a poem to make the ceremony more intimate.
I did too! I created a beautiful bouquet that I later had dried and still have! it was beautiful - people know that city hall is not just for court, it''s also for weddings, so go for it!!
Yes,. you should definately have a bouquet. This is your special day and not only will you feel like a beautiful bride, the rest of the world will share with you, with smiles and congratulations at the sight of your bouquet. As your dress is cream, I would recommend cala lillies if you havent chose your bouqet already. They look beautiful simply hand tied.
Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I dont think that it being held in city hall makes it any less of a formal occasion. Carry whatever sort of flowers will make you happy!
