I spent days reading all of the insurance threads on here and reached the conclusion that Chubb would be the best option for us only to find that I can''t get anyone to write one. I''ve tried everyone I could find recommended on the board as well as a number of my local agents but no dice. Has anyone gotten a Chubb stand alone recently that could suggest someone to call? I live in FL so they would have to be licensed here.

Did you try Googling Chubb? I did that, and then plugged in my zip code and a bunch of agents who write Chubb policies popped up (I live in Los Angeles, so perhaps that makes a difference). The first one I called is writing my stand-alone policy as soon as I can get him the appraisal.

Shannon - you should page crookedrock...I believe they used Chubb and are in FL. I''m not sure if they have a stand alone policy though.

Thanks Scarlet. Can you tell me how to go about paging her? You guys have been so much help. Not sure what I would have done without pricescope.

Hey Shannon - just start a new thread titled "Paging Crookedrock - insurance question" or whatever you like. When she sees it she will reply
