Chubb scraps stand-alone e-ring coverage

So I called up a Chubb agent and inquired about insurance for my e-ring, and he told me that Chubb no longer writes stand-alone policies for engagement rings, you have to have some other type of insurance with them also (homeowner''s, renter''s, auto). I was very disappointed. I''m in CA. Has anyone else heard this?

I''m in CA and just got a stand alone policy this month. Try Touchstone Insurance, 866-725-1999. That''s who I got my policy through.

And, yes, a Chubb agent once again motivates a customer to considerably expand misinformation about the availability of their products...with no repercussions to the agent. And...who is there even to tell? If you call Chubb first for information..they may even tell you the same, and possibly if you report the agent to Chubb, they could care less.
