Chubb in PA

Hello. Anyone in the Philadelphia, PA area have Chubb Insurance? I received a quote for $300 on $12000. Does that seem high or is that about right? Thanks in advance!

That actually doesn't sound too high to me. I have Jewelers Mutual, and my premiums are about $180 on a ring insured for $8000. That works out to about 2.25%. Your Chubb premium would be 2.5%. Philadelphia is a high-crime area, so that's why these rates seem high; when I was in Pittsburgh, the premium on my ring was only $110/year.

Ok I feel much better now. I also got a quote for GemSheild which is like Jewelers Mutual and the quote was for $250. I live in 19148 zip so that does play into the high crime area lol. I think I need to move. Thanks for your feedback!
