Christopher Duquet in Evanston

Does anyone have any knowledge of this designer, based in Evanston, IL? He only sells his own designs, and I'm very impressed with the settings, but really appreciate and give credence to recommendations . . . especially because I have to buy a stone from him, and would like to know anyone's experience in doing this.

Well, answered my own question. He has beautiful settings, and jewelry, but I was extremely disappointed in stone selection he made (visible inclusion to my fiance''s untrained naked eye!) and the exhorbitant price he insisted we pay for the one without a visible inclusion. He ended up refusing to sell us the setting when we didn''t want to buy a way over-priced stone to go with it. He''s a brilliant designer, but not a very good businessman.
