The Christmas season is rapidly approaching, esspecially if you''ve been to Target lately...

Last year I handmade all our Christmas cards--which was awesome, but totally time consuming, and this year I just don''t have it. I made about 100 of them last year, and need roughly the same amount this holiday season as well.

Does anyone have any good recommendations as to a website that I could order some knock-out cards from? I''d prefer not to spend 400.00 on them...so budget friendly ones would be nice too!

TIA!

Wow thats a huge budget for Christmas cards. I would recommend Papyrus or ETSY for some really nice ones!

LOL, 400.00 would be a huge budget...and would certainly make my job easier...but, 400.00 isn''t my budget this year.

I''m looking to find something a lot more budget friendly...

Like what? We talking $25, $100, $200?

Exactly. . .what is your budget?

Normally I get my cards at Target and spend, at the most, $25! I also include photos of my kids, but this year am not. School photos for two kids being sent out to all family/friends = $50+!

MC: You could take an at home pic of the kids and get them printed online at snapfish or something and each print is only a few cents. That would allow you to still include pics but to cut the middle man out!

I totally read that as $400 being your budget! oops! We got some a couple of years ago from either Barnes & Noble or Borders that were really nice. we never sent them out so we probably will use them this year.

This is going to sound crazy, but I think Costco and Sam''s club typically have awesome huge Christmas card and Christmas wrapping paper kits! They''re usually under $30. Just a thought.

The seller I like on Etsy is selling Christmas cards for $1 each this year. She''s really quick with custom orders and great about shipping abroad.

Yeah, I know, that's probably what I'll do IF I send pictures out. I'm kind of annoyed that none of our relatives send us pictures, but I've always made a huge effort to include photos for them and this year I'm debated not sending any at all. Is that horrible? lol

Oh, and second to Sarah's suggestion of Costco. They always have huge boxes of pretty cards for super cheap.

I do Costco w/a picture and I think 50 of them are $15?

I go back and forth if I am going to do them this year. If I do I will go through shutterfly (or something like it).

My mom usually buys next years Christmas cards at the sales the day after Christmas. Crate and Barrel always has some nice ones as well as Tuesday Mornings.

I''m doing my own. ;)

I can make 10 cards in about 15 minutes with a materials cost of $0.30/card.

Erica, those are really pretty! Great job!

Thanks neatfreak! You can''t see it in the photos, but there is some glittery embossing powder over the snowflakes. Makes them nice and shimmery.

Erica, those are great!

I actually bought cards at Target just last week. I have never bought there in the past - usually buy at Crane''s.
But ya know, Crane cards cost is way up there and I''m sending fewer cards, so I bought 2 different cards at Target
and they will be just fine!

Love those Erica!

Just found these on Papyrus and I thought I''d share. Don''t think they''ve been posted yet, they''re really cute!!

Thanks for the suggestions lady! I appreciate it!

Wow, I never thought about Christmas card prices---I spend like $15 or $20 a year---from Target (or a place like it-).

DH just bought our Christmas cards from Walmart tonight. He LOVES sending out cards to his employees, he''s the manager of his store, and our families/friends. I''d love to make our cards, but am just not up to it. He found some really nice ones at 18 for $5 per box.

Awesome cards Erica!
