Chose a Setting/Rock

Since I liked the tension one better, and the great service at Scaasi (though WF was great too), I chose the tension one. Unless she has a complete change of heart I think I made happy choice.

Except that I worry I spent too much. Litterally 2 months of my salary, cutting in half my current savings. We had talked about getting a less expensive ring (around 2k) to put the rest of the money toward a house downpayment.

But with this setting/diamond I''m confident she''d never want to upgrade.

I just have one superquick question - I love the setting she picked and you decided on. But has she thought about how a wedding band would fit with it? If she''s a ''it needs to sit flush'' kinda girl, she should definitely think about that before going with the setting....

Good question. The Scaasi people say that they will make a bamd that will match flush with that setting.

I''m having her think double hard again about the ring (she wanted to retake the survey, lol)

The first line of that last post of yours confused me. I think the typo has me not understanding. Did you order that princess setting you chose, already? Or not. Or is it that you already bought a princess stone and now she has rb shaped stones ranked higher??

Correct. I ordered the twisted tension style ring, princess cut diamond today.
Last night she ranked that one the best. But she was "tired, and had something in her eye" when she did that.

She redid the ranking today.

She ranked the twisted,princess one a 10 out of 11.

She liked those three round cut styles better, each with a rank of 11. Hopefully I can make a change tomorrow. I doubt it will be a problem.
