Choosing a setting

I'm trying to see if I could afford getting a twisted infinity setting without breaking my budget. ($2500 MAX)

I can't seem to find something similar to this anywhere else (at least not as pretty as this one is...)

I know that I could purchase the setting and have BG set it for $50, but I wanted to ask the forum's opinion on buying a setting like that for sub $1000 in whether or not the quality would be questionable.

If anyone could recommend a similar setting as the top one from blue nile, or affirm that the setting above is of decent quality and worth the money, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm just waiting to pull the trigger after I can settle on the setting

... Well then! I suppose I have my answer now... haha.

I couldn't find a diamond similar to the one from BG, so I guess I'll just be buying everything from BG.

Btw, how does wire transfers work? I know I'll have to go to my bank and issue the wire, but how long does it take for them to receive payment, and then ship it out to me?

does it take longer if they must set the diamond on the ring?
