hi guys

thanks for opinion...

I have run them all through HCA - which is how i chose them in the first place,
was just wondering if there is anything else i should consider or know before commiting to a purchase?

Thanks so much...

Hey stubobby,
Have you seen any in person? Are they eye clean to you? The inclusions that are there, are not surface or structural?

Or - if going thru a vendor - just have them confirm they are all eye clean at (whatever) " away you would prefer - 6"? 10"? 12"?

PRicing is so close as not to be that influential. I'd also agree with # 1 or #2.

They are an online vendor - so i wont get a chance to see them, but as a novice - what would i know anyways...

the vendor is happy to give opinion, i.e. "eyeclean" or whatever....

I have trailed the shops in glasgow - and am not happy to buy from anyone here...

One shop i was recommended and really wanted to give my money to, was pushing me for a "F" VS2, but i took the angles from the certificate and it had a score of 7 on the HCA, and he wanted £6500 for the ring

.

I would suggest www.jamesallen.com only because they have pictures there as well as the certificates plus customer service available 24/7....I wouldn't buy anything without seeing a picture let alone from someone that's not a reputable vendor...

Maybe something like:

http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/I-VS2-Excellent-Cut-Round-Diamond-1514097.asp

thanks for advice, but I am uk based, and not keen on buying abroard.

I am looking at 77Diamonds which have a shop in London, and pretty good reviews everywhere

Does your vendor have a good return policy? Or an upgrade policy if that is important to you?
