I am not one for sweet drinks, but damn I am addicted to these chocolate martinis.

I have been trying to figure out the just right recipe.

Right now, I''m having one with:

1 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Cream de Coca
almost 2oz. of Godiva Chocolate Ligquor
1/2 to 3/4 oz of 1/2 and 1/2

With shaved dark chocolate on top.
Any ideas on how to perfect this? I have searched online and there are so many variations.

ok I have about 1 martini a year, usually when I am trying to be sophisticated, then I remember I only like beer or wine.

But when I do have that 1 ....this one hits the spot:

sweetened cocoa powder - to line the rim of the glass
1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka, chilled
1 1/2 ounces white Creme de Cacao
1 chocolate Hershey''s chocolate kiss
splash godiva chocolate-flavored liquer

In a cocktail shaker half filled with ice, add the vodka and creme de cacao. Shake and pour.
Drop a Hershey''s kiss into the glass and top with a splash of Godiva chocolate liqueur.

Seems like this is just a version of yours so maybe just add a hershey choc kiss to your recipe!! YUM !!!

I have seen recipes like yours. Love the kiss idea. I do use choc/sugar on the rim. Just last night I did that for a friend and then garnished with one of those choc rolled skinny cookies.

Oh, I love chocolate martinis. This is how I make them:

1 part Godiva white chocolate liquer
1 part Godive cappachino liquer (or chocolate creme liquer... either is great)
1 part vanilla vodka

So delish!
