Wedding Chocolate Chip Cookie Favors?

I need your opinions. Would you ladies enjoy receiving two really big and fresh chocolate chip cookies as a favor? I''m for edible favors, because honestly anything else I receive ends up in my basement. FI''s most favorite dessert is chocolate chip cookies- in fact he would love to have a cookie cake for our wedding. I also really like chocolate chip cookies, so we thought why not get some from one of our favorite bakeries (for about $.60 each) two days before the wedding. My bridesmaids have graciously offered to package them for us so they''ll be in clear cello bags tied with apple green and turquoise ribbons. What do you think?

I love the idea; in fact (if I actually DO favors) this would be at the top of my list as my FI is a chocolate chip cookie FREAK, and it''s very us.

But I''m toying with the idea of having an Italian cookie buffet during cocktail hour and wonder if my guests willl be on ''cookie overload.''
