Hello - I lost my stone and had it replaced about a month ago. About a week or so ago when I went to clean it, I noticed a chip and cloudiness in stone. Can a chip on one side cause a cloudiness imperfection on the other side? The jeweler is saying the imperfection I am seeing is from the chip. Is this true? I am already having an issue because there is a chip which they are claiming I had to have chipped it. There is visible cloudiness on the other end and they are claiming it is from the chip. Can anyone verify that an external chip can cause the illusion of a cloudy imperfection on the other side of the stone?
