Am I the only one who hadn''t heard about this toy? Oh my goodness...the catsitter brought one of these over yesterday and changed my cats lives. Catnip infused electronic toy that chirps like a bird. Sort of like someone getting a drum set for your kid -- the chirping is darn cute for about 5 minutes and then it can get nerve wracking. The cats chirp along with the toy and hide it in all their favorite places -- my shoes, their toy box, under their favorite blankie. I have wait until they fall asleep to take it away and hide it.

Oh man, where can I get one of those? That looks awesome! My kitties would go nuts.

She bought it at Walmart. I''m not sure who else carries them. I''ve not seen them at PetSmart. I''m going to order a few off the net.

My cats would love that however it''d drive me absolutely nuts! Or, maybe the cats wouldn''t notice. We have a battery operated hamster that came with a real hamster ball and turn it on. The cats ignore it as it rolls around the house.

We got one at a pet store except ours is a mouse and makes mouse squeaking noises...I always hear it around 3am lol It makes the noise when it is moved, motion acitvated somehow, is the bird the same way?

Yep, it chirps when it''s moved. We have the mouse too but they aren''t as bonkers about it.

Have the bird and the mouse. Somedays they go crazy with one or the other, throwing them up in the air and pouncing. Some days they just ignore them
I also have panic mouse and that automatic laser thing and the turbo track. But the biggest hit is the fling-a-ma-string. That they consistently play with. And "da bird". When they don''t play with stuff I give it to the animal shelter, so I don''t feel like I''m just wasting money.

I got the mouse version for my cats, who will be 8 in April. They played with it a little but lost interest. But they like the balls with the feathers sticking out, and other mice that don''t have a squeaker. And those Mylar crackle balls.

Cute! I may have to get a couple for my boys - though between them running around, fighting in the bathtub and breaking their bowls, it''s pretty noisy as it is

I hope the toy is big enough that it won''t get stuck under the oven though - the area under our oven has become a graveyard of small mouse toys!

I may have to try one of these! My little devil LOVES his Zhu Zhu pet (yes, he actually got one for chirstmas - my older cat is not a fan). The problem is, he can''t really play with the Zhu Zhu pet alone and being part Siamese he SCREAMS when he wants something - which wakes me up. The Zhu Zhu pet needs to be activated and only stays on for 4 mins. so every night we have to build in plenty of Zhu Zhu play time before I take it away and stash it in a draw so I don''t have to hear cries of frustration all night.

This seems like it would be half as loud as he can be...I might be able to deal with a chirp if it keeps my little guy amused
