Hey folks! Thanks to all you PSers I finally picked a diamond and a setting. Just got my CADs from WF today and I''m so excited I could pop!!

The setting is a shared prong 3/4 eternity with 3 point ACA melee. The center stone that I picked is a 2.53 I SI1. I love it so far! It makes it even harder to wait the 3 weeks until I can actually go pick it up!

What do you guys think? Do you think the center stone will sit up too high?

Here''s another one...

Wow! It's going to be stunning! It does look like the stone will sit quite high. What if you did the Legato head instead of the one in the CADs? It's really elegant and looks great in profile.

Here's the Legato head...

And here's LynnB's gorgeous fishtail pave set with the Legato head.

But I agree about the head ... they have other swoopier, huggier, more fluid looking options that would "embrace" the stone more. Head like that can look fine on smaller stones -- but you have a WHOPPER! When that shape head gets scaled up so much it (IMHO) appears "industrial" somehow.

I Completely agree w/both these ladies. Nice!

OOOHHH, gotta love that Legato head.

I also think it would look better with the Legato head, but a slightly "plainer" yet still more elegant option is seen on the petite open cathedral ring. I think that head would be a nice compromise. With the size and height of this diamond, a head as chunky as the plain one doesn''t flow well IMHO. Otherwise, looks great!

Whiteflash modified a head for Jcrow ... the buttercuppy head as seen very late in that thread. Its somewhere between the Legato head & the one you have now ... plain yet swoopier -- would hug the stone while still allowing for a flush band. Check out her pictures ... its a six prong setting though ...

This shows the side view of Jcrow''s setting. I love the height of this, and the way the stone seems nestled snugly.

And here''s the top view .. so you won''t think that six prongs will be overwhelming on your stone. See how they actually are LESS apparent, and highlight the roundness of the stone ... JMHO.

Wow! That IS a beautiful head!! I wonder if they could do it with 4 prongs....hmmm.

Personally I''d rather have six prongs on a stone that size, but it seems like they could make you something to fit with four. I LOVE your diamond.

Here''s a pic of LynnB''s previous e-ring (I hope she doesn''t mind). I also hope she doesn''t mind that I requested my e-ring to be modeled after hers. It''s the same style but it looks like her stone sits lower

Here''s WF''s images of LynnB''s ring
