I'm hoping those with more experience can impart some of their sapphire knowledge. Is it possible to buy a natural 1ct blue sapphire for around $150-200? This includes any type of treatment and windowed cut.

I bought the below which the vendor purported to be natural. At the price point I don't mind too much what it is or what treatments it's undergone, but curious to know if it is even possible to get a natural stone this cheaply?

It's possible.
I bought a beautiful, 1.17ct unheated sapphire at a gem show for $300 Canadian. That would be a bit over $200 USD (maybe $225).

Here is an unheated sapphire over 1.6 ct that is currently selling for $188. https://mastercutgems.com/Products-...heated_Sapphire_1_64_carat-Gem.php?FromPage=1

So it can be done. That doesn't necessarily mean anything about your specific stone but I wouldn't make any assumptions based on the cost.

Are you open to inclusions and/or oval shape? Mastercut Gems is having a sale right now and there are a few blue sapphires in your price range.

There's a vendor I've bought from, MinePlanet on Etsy, who has 2-3 sapphires below $200 at the carat mark. His stones tend to be windowed and have a gray mask.
