Chat with BF re: ER

Hi Ladies, longish post!

I had a chat with my BF the other day about diamonds, showed him how to read an ASET, Idealoscope etc. - it was really exciting - (he''s so patient about my boring diamond hobby). It seems that he''ll get me a nice stone, but I''ll be responsible for setting it. (hmmm James Meyer, Caleb Meyre?)

In the past I wanted a Tiffany Lucida, but now that I know they''re cut for white light return,(and I want fire) I''m reconsidering.

I''m trying to choose between the GOG chunky OMC and the square cushion Hearts and Arrows
(any one know which one I should choose?)(posted about it over in RT to ask the experts).

On another note my relationship has become semi-LDR as BF has left for a practicum in a city 3hrs away. I''ll only see him weekends until the end of November

Still no Idea of an engagement timeline, but BF will be paid decently for most of the time he''s away.

I''m a fan of the chunky cushion But I''m no diamond expert thats for sure! Just wanted to say that I''m happy for you that you got to have the fun talk with the bf! Thats exciting. And hopefully he''ll be putting some of that well earned moolah into a little savings pot for your bling

Chunky chunky chunky! I got to see some chunky cushions at ERD the other day, and they were simply gorgeous. The GOG ones are to die for as well in the videos and pictures. There''s definitely a special look about them and the flashes of light
