Channel diamonds in relation to center stone

I have a G, VS1 princess cut stone and am getting a setting with channel diamonds (4 on each side). Is there a standard for the color and quality of channel diamonds. The setting I will be getting is from Vatche. I just don''t want my stone to look whiter than the channel stones or vice versa.

Many designers have a standard they use for settings, like F,G, or G,H. I would ask them what they use.

Typically, on rounds, you can easily go up or down 2 color grades for sides with no problem. Not sure if the same holds true for squares though.

Ditto to what Ellen said, but those stones will be tiny and will be fine with your stone!
