lorelei, i have requested the IS for the 2 you've mentioned. they say it will take 48hrs to get them fullfilled. in the meantime, can u clarify what am i looking for when i received those images??

well, i bought from JA 3yrs ago and like to upgrade from them since they have that 100% credit of original prices towards the new diamond.

if i sold my current one, i figure i wont be getting much elsewhere. unless someone else here have a better suggestions?

Any jewelry store should be able to measure her finger.

Most women like a thinner band, as it makes the size of the stone "pop" more. What type of setting are you thinking of? that can play a part.

As far as the width of the engagement ring, when she tries some on, have her also try on wedding bands. The engagement ring width may look ok by itself but you have to keep in mind how it will look with the wedding band as well. Particularly with small hands.

hey bunrieu my gf is Vietnamese and 2mm looks good on her finger. Her ring size is 3.5 so any thicker would look too big. Sometimes I wonder if a slightly thinner band would be better as it''ll make the diamond look bigger But then realized as we went for wedding band shopping that its hard to find one any thinner than 2mm.
