Champaign Pave & Tension

I saw a "champaign pave" setting on WF. I''ve included a photo. I also saw a tension setting that had the same "champaign pave" design. So here''s some questions. Anyone have an first hand experience with either of these? and Have you seen this tension setting in platinum or white gold?

Also check out the Michael B 'Crown Lace' collection, it has similar blotches of diamonds...pricey but so beautiful...tried it on and considered it during our look but fiance thought it was too untraditional
