Champagne diamond set

I’ve been intrigued by the “low colour” but excellently cut diamonds that regularly show up on Premier Gemstones on IG. I’m not much of a one for diamonds - I really love coloured gems but I’ve had a hankering for a champagne set.

I picked up a GIA triple Ex o-p light brown VVS - as the brown tinge suits my colouring (yellow makes me look ill). I had it made into a pendant and I wear it really frequently.

Then a well priced pair popped up in the same light brown range but a bit further down the colour spectrum - S-T and W-X which were also GIA triple x. So I snapped them up for “matching” earrings.

They look just like gold coloured diamonds - so wearable and just a bit different. Plus plenty of bling for your bucks!

You can see a slight colour variation when they are all together but as worn they match pretty well.

oh my goodness!! This hits the sweet spot for me. I absolutely LOVE low colored diamonds, especially in yellow gold. Who did your pendant setting? It's to die for! Congrats!
p.s. how did you find working with Premier Gemstones on IG? I've been following him since he set his account up and am curious to hear customer's experiences.

I’m very pragmatic, say I want to buy, send wire transfer, get stones. Done. I think if you want kid glove treatment then someone will end up gazzumping you. Saying that The communication is very professional, the gens arrive extremely fast and I was very very happy with the entire engagement. I’d definitely buy from them again.

Edited to add: so sorry I realise I didn’t say who did the setting. The pendant was done by Cara in Dubai and the earrings by Al Ain jewellery. The bezel setting is actually much nicer on the earrings. But both benches are excellent.

Thank you all. I have minuscule earlobes with holes which look like they were applied by The Expendables so if I go too big they look really unbalanced. This is as good as it gets sadly.

I'd mirror your experience. Alex is great with communication. He has a no questions asked return policy (that I've only needed to use once). He also cuts some REALLY fantastic gems. The unheated tanzanite he cuts seriously make me drool and I don't even much care for tanzanite!

Thank you. Necklace stone is just over a carat - I believe it’s 1.1. The earring stones are 1.88tcw.
