Sorry is that 18 tall or 14 tall? well, actually... either way, with those particular centerpieces... probably. But they aren't complete obstructions either, so... go for it. Are they two sided?
I think you either need to go shorter, or WAY taller. You could probably put them onto something, idk what, to raise it a bit. But that''s why you normally see really small/short centerpieces or WAY tall ones, because people dont like talking around a centerpiece.
A good rule of thumb for centerpieces is that if you''re going "tall"...it should be slender through the middle so that people can still see each other across the table....
If you''ve decided to go "tall" you should base the height off the volume of ceiling in the venue.
Thanks everyone. You''ve cemented my thoughts. I saw the picture and the price ($5 each!!!!) and thought "THIS IS IT!". Then I saw the height. Back to searching again...
