I''m thinking I might want to do a celtic setting, or custom. Does anyone have any advice? I''d like to do yellow gold, and what I was thinking of would be something with side stones along the top of the band and then the celtic work would be along the sides? Does anyone have any advice?

GreenLake does lots of celtic designs. Look in mountings/represenational.

Although I do like both, I''m hoping to find something with wire work done similar to the hand fabricated rings at the second link, but with celtic knots...

Would anything here be helpful for inspiration?

I found a site somewhere yonks ago that had Celtic engagement ring and wedding ring sets that sort of interlocked. The rings could be worn separately, or together. Either way the stones appeared surrounded by knotwork. Does that sound like what you're after? I could try and find the site again?

ETA - aha! I found it! They can even take your initials and incorporate them into the knotwork. Here's the link: http://www.raru.com/

Check our Brazen Irish Hussy''s ring thread, IIRC, her ring has Celtic designs, as does her FI''s wband.

I like something like this, but with the filigree in the sides being celtic knotwork? It might be something I''d have to do custom, but I''m not so good at sketches lol.

GreenLake does lots of custom work, you could always email them the rings you like as well as a knot design or two that you like and see what they come up with. Custom doesn''t have to mean DIY

Another good inspiration site might be St Justin There''s usually a link where you can download the entire catalog; they have much more than is shown online.
