I, personally, prefer a grain-free diet with a lower protein % (especially for growing dogs), lower fat content and a higher calcium-to-phosphorous ratio, but the food overall doesn''t seem that bad...then again I just made the switch to a raw diet because I''m done with commercial foods. More than anything I''m just upset that this is yet ANOTHER product that will most likely have RR''s face plastered all over it!

HA!

We feed our pup an all raw diet, too. She''s on the BARF (Bones And Raw Food) plan. I know, the acronym isn''t great, but the diet is.

RR''s dog food doesn''t look too bad for commercial kibble.

I agree.

I have gone to a lot of trouble to find a food that would suit our 2 older dogs mostly because the oldest (12.5) has a sensitive stomach and needs low protein, low allergen, low calorie easily digestible food. I scour labels in the pet food store! For our new puppy I was in a quandry because she came from across the country and we couldn''t find the same food here so I went through basically every brand in the store bag by bag reading labels to see what might even be feasible. I''m not totally convinced I got the best food yet either. I did find her gluten free miniature dental chews though, and they''re great. They are the size of my baby finger so she can''t choke on them.
