Calling you Experts...I need advice.

I am in the process of picking out an E-ring and wedding band combo. We have a square-ish (1.07 ratio) cushion cut diamond for the center. In the setting search, I''ve been all over the map, from AngelaInJapan HW halo style to plain solitaire with a hundred different ideas in between.

I finally decided on "the one"...a thin cathedral halo with hidden pave work in the gallery. I want to couple this with two diamond prong set wedding bands ("partial" eternity rings), about .08 or .09 carats for each stone.

We are planning to have the work custom done (or at least the E ring so that the dimensions will be perfect, and we would like to get all 3 rings at the same place). However, I got some feedback from one vendor today that has me worried that my mental picture of how "my ring" will look may be off. He is concerned that the different styles of rings might look kind of awkward together.

So, I am posting pictures of what I have in mind here for your honest critiques. Also, if you have a thin band cathedral solitaire with a .07 to .1 carat per stone band, I would LOVE to see pictures.

Thanks so much in advance, and Happy Weekend!

Does anyone else have an opinion on how these styles would look together? Should I go for a different style of wedding band?

Thanks so much- ya''ll are the greatest!

Have you seen this setting? http://www.exceldiamonds.com/-Engagement-Rings-5/Diamond-Accent-Engagement-Rings-12/Vatche-Caroline-Diamond-Engagement-Ring--188-1542.html

I like the idea of the diamonds on the basket of the solitaire and diamond bands on each side! However, I think with 0.09 diamonds all together it might be a bit too wide (at least on my fingers!). If your fingers can handle all that bling, GO FOR IT

Personally, I''d go with a much thinner wedding band, especially if you''re going to wear two of them. I find that a wider wedding band will take away from the main stone and make it appear smaller. Just my personal opinion though. Your idea for the setting is very interesting. I hope you can find someone to make it exactly the way you picture it!
