How do these fit? Should I go up in size to allow for the rolling?

You'll need to go up just a little bit. However I think their sizing already allows for a little bit of room. Probably best to call a boutique and ask.

Cartier actually recommends that you go down a bit for rolling ring sizing. Nonetheless, I had a chance to play with the classic size Cartier rolling rings years ago during a PS get-together in San Francisco, and I found the size chart on the third page to be spot-on for me: http://ca.cartier.com/content/dam/c...Sizing-guide_RINGS_215-9x279-4_US_141008F.pdf. My U.S. ring size for that finger is 6 1/4, and the Euro size 53 rolling rings fit me best. (My ring size is governed by the need to get over a substantial knuckle - maybe Cartier's recommendation is geared towards those whose ring size is governed more by the fleshy part of the finger???)

HI:

I bought a 53 although my finger was a 52. Glad I did.

cheers--Sharon

I am a size 7 but I tend to wear 7.25/7.5 for comfort - I used to have a size 56 and I really needed a 55.

I also bumped up one size for my ring and don't regret it; I know that my fingers swell in heat/humidity. Cartier's sizing increments are small and the ring is in no way actually loose on my finger.

FWIW--I like to wear my Cartier rolling ring a bit loose so they can actually roll while wearing them. I like the clinking sound  they make when they move. Having it sit stationary or produce finger cleavage while pairing with another ring would never be a goal for me. Everyone likes something different!

I wear a thin 2mm trinity & I bought a size 53, or 6 1/4. It fits perfectly but if I were to go to the classic size or larger, I would buy a 54 for sure. How do I know this? Because when I tried on the classic at the store in a size 53, it got stuck. I do stack with it & I find that the other rings that are a bit wider, I've had to size them to 6 1/2. I would say as a general rule of thumb, try it on before buying if you are able, if not, If the band is thinner, buy the same size as you normally wear but if going wider, then definitely go up a size.
