Please advise on how to care for the diamond now that I finally have it. I am so paranoid when wearing the ring that I get scared whenever the diamond gets hit a little. For example...my diamond tapped/hit a glass of water and I got scared thinking it would damage the diamond. Its just that I read on the forums here that over time the clarity of the diamond can get worse. I just got my ring 3.5 weeks ago and I feel that I should go get my ring checked out by the jeweler to make sure the diamond is still secure and I didn''t make the VS2 clarity get worse. Am I just being too paranoid?

All you can do is make sure you have insurance which covers you for damage as well as theft/ loss etc, and enjoy your ring! Wear it carefully, remove it if doing rough jobs, but remember chipping and breakage is rare and often the result of bad luck or rough wearing. Many diamonds are worn for a lifetime and don''t get damaged!

Yes ! LOl, just kidding. As usual, Ms Lorelei has given sound advice - do you have valuables insurance? For the most part, VS2 should be safe - don''t be too hard on your ring, and you should be able to enjoy it for life.
