Anyone know where you can see a scale of carat sizes with rings and/or fingers included? I''m envisioning something like 10 or so fingers with diamond rings on them side by side with carat size listed underneath. This might be asking for too much, but I really have no desire to go into a B&M store and endure the sales process. I''ve seen a bunch of scales with just diamonds, but I can''t get an idea of the size unless there''s a ring and/or finger to help benchmark. Thanks!

I know what you mean Amory....hopefully someone will have something they can post that will be useful to you. I would imagine it would be hard to accurately construct what you are referring to because two diamonds of the same carat weight can differ in size to the eye depending upon it''s measurements, also if I put a 2 carat solitaire on my middle finger and then on my pinky finger, of course it would appear much large on my pinky b/c of the smaller size. The same would go for any individual''s hand. The same size stone would like larger on a smaller size hand than a larger one. So it would be misleading to the eye.

By the way welcome! I hope you will find what you are looking for!

i can honestly say i have never seen anything like what you are describing, however, bluenile does have a simple ring size/hand animation that you may find helpful.

go here and click on ''more'' under the carat weight section.

good luck in finding that perfect size!

www.benbridge.com has the carat weight then tells you what the mm size is. Just click education.

I know what you mean. The same carat weight can have different table sizes making particular rings look larger (although maybe less brilliant). That said, I''ve seen the scales with the diamonds side by side, so I was hoping to find something similar with rings and fingers. Thanks for the input so far!

Good work, Belle.

Amory, you could do well to try this link; it may be close to what you''re looking for.

Best,

Amory - something like this?

Amory, I forgot to add this:

Model''s middle finger is a 6 US ring size (used to try and fit more rings on the upper knuckle).

Sizes: From left to right: 1.02ct [E/VS1], 1.21ct [G/VVS1], 1.51ct [F/SI1] and 2.01ct. [E/VS1] SuperbCert H&A diamonds

Amory - thought I''d try and put everything together on one page:

Thanks, PP. I was hoping for a drawing at best - but a real hand with real rings?!? Fantastic! Thanks again - extremely helpful!

Sure, Amory. Anything I can do to help!!

How about the same picture but with 3, 4, and 5 ct stones?

cool pp! where did you get that picture? are there more sizes?

Hi, belle - a friend emailed the picture. I asked her if she had any other sizes and she said that''s all they had. I''ll keep looking and if I come across anything, I''ll post it.

Ohhhh what a great picture.....would LOVE to see the same pic with 2-4 carats!
