Risingsun, here you go! My current car is a BMW E46 M3- I have modified it a bit. My next car *hopefully* will be a Lamborghini Murcielago. Hence the screen name

Purrfectpear, anything is possible. If no one could afford that car, they wouldn''t make it...but clearly, some people can--and do--buy extremely expensive cars, and whose to say LamborghiniGirl isn''t one of those people?

if i can afford a $354K car i would buy a Maybach,too old to drive a sport car.

In terms of modifications, in addition to smaller cosmetic changes, I have upgraded to a SuperSprint Race Exhaust, custom HRE Performance Wheels, a custom Alpine, JL Audio and MB Quart sound system, Angel Eyes, and a very complex Viper alarm setup.

I'm now in the Boston area mostly. I've been around exotics [and have tooled around in them] for a long time [mostly Ferrari and Lamborghini]. I also did quite a bit of consulting work [strategy and operations] for Fiat and Alfa Romeo in Italy.

I am currently eyeing one of these. [I'm a tad long in the tooth].

Hi LamborghiniGirl! Another fellow car enthusiast here. I too own an M3 (white 2001) without mods. I also race a Porsche 911 so that''s where all my extra money goes. No extra left over for upgrading my M3. However, even without modifications, it''s still great fun on the track!

Do you ever take your car on the track or race it? Looks too nice for that! Great photos!

Lambogirl, nice mods!! Loooove your rims. I''m in CT and have loved cars since I was little. My dad did some accounting work for a firm that imported exotic cars and made them street legal for the U.S. I remember being "allowed" to park lovelies like Lotus Esprits, a couple of Countachs, and a custom convertible Ferrari Testarossa. My fav had to be the Porsche 930 slant nose conversion though... but that''s prolly because it was a race car!
Blu, that is my hubby''s dream car! Gotta love the gullwings.

DiamanteBlu-- I test drove the McLaren when it was first introduced at Foreign Motors West (west of Boston)-- I loved it.. good choice!

portia-- I used to do some track events before I put my HRE 19''s on. I still have my stock 18''s but the all rubber is gone! Maybe sometime in the future I will again. My BF has a Active Autowerke Supercharged E46 M3 as well.
The 911 must be so much fun!

PaulaW-- that must have been so fun growing up! And that Aston Martin

is very nice.

Previous posts would indicate that is no more than a dream. Nothing wrong with dreaming but let''s not get carried away with over the top bragging shall we? We are who we are, not what we drive IMO. Perhaps LG would like to explain if I''m not being fair

I wish we knew you were in Charlotte! They just had a PS get-together last Friday night. I couldn''t go this time, but hopefully we can arrange another one soon.

I can''t exactly claim to be a car enthusiast like you are, but my hubby''s hobby is restoring old Porsche''s from the late ''50''s-early 60''s.
