EEEEKKK!! I'm so excited right now, I just had to share. So I have a bunch of jewelry that I never wear, so I sold it all and used all the funds to get myself a really nice RHR; and I scored the deal of a LIFETIME!! I'm come back and post hand shots as soon as I get it in the mail and sized, so it will probably be a couple weeks but I just couldn't wait to share my excitement.
It's 1.73ctw, center stone is .70 G SI1 (5.9mm)

So fellow PS'ers I have a question. The cut of this diamond looks a little funny to me. I'm happy with the purchase either way because it really was a phenom of a deal. But is this a bad cut, or just a different kind of cut?? I know it's hard to tell without having the ring in hand but can anyone tell what's going on, or am I just imagining things?

It's a little hard to tell ... it looks like it's really deeply set in the bezel (faux-bezel with prongs at the back?), which makes it tough to tell if the darkness you see in the center is table reflection, or the bezel affecting the light return. It's a really detailed piece, and I hope you love it in person - but, just in case, does the vendor have a return policy you're comfortable with?
