Can''t get rid of my plantar''s wart or my husband...

Actually, I''m hoping this morning will be the last time I have to get this burning done on the bottom of my foot. But I''m also stopping off at the divorce lawyer''s office because this is also the third time I''ve had to file papers to try to divorce the loser husband I haven''t seen in over 20 years and nobody knows where he is. I first filed for divorce in 1995 and had not seen him nearly 10 years. If he''s dead or in jail, there''s no record of it. He certainly has never had a job...so it makes it more cumbersome and expensive to get divorced. Arrrrrrrrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!! Now my daughter is 28 and I have had to file all over again, get a court order allowing me to post in the paper as service, post in the paper, and wait my six months and file the final papers. The court always loses them. At one point the computer reads that I was officially divorced. Then I found out I wasn''t and I have spent days in this incompetent courtroom and keep getting transferred to different judges. So, now I have a divorce lawyer so I can just pas it all off to him, but the same thing is happening. I have been dealing with the divorce lawyer and his incompetent staff for the past YEAR. I told him that after all I have been through, he will not get paid until I am officially divorced. He thinks I''m jinxed. Yeah, that must be it.

Maybe it''s because you have an incompetent legal assistant. I am going to confront her today and demand to see my file.

So, perhaps it''s a good thing that this stubborn plantar''s crap goes away and then comes back, because the lawyers office is next door to the doctor''s office. It is forcing me to confront my legal team in person.

Has anyone ever had one of these palntar''s warts on their foot that comes back? How did you get rid of it? I have tried every home remedy, natural remedy, doctor burning it... I have disinfected my shoes, bought new liners for my Uggs and Aussie Dogs, and just when I think it''s gone, BAM! ::::heavy sigh::::: Oh well, we try again today. I just don''t want to keep spending money on this stuff right now, because I need it for my daughters upcoming wedding....

Hey Lady!!! Well I never had a plantars wart (not sure what it is). I have had a pesky wart on my finger that I had freezed off about 3 times and it doesn't work so I have been using nail polish and it worked one time and now came back so more nail polish. Hope that helps maybe??? Sorry about the divorce stuff, nutty.

Duct tape? Those Scholl sticky salicyclic acid pads? Maybe you need to have your foot numbed and a more extensive freezing procedure done on it? I've heard of people having that done with warts on their hands. It's a hospital day procedure. I imagine it leaves a scar but that probably isn't a concern on the sole of your foot.

miraclesrule I'm not an expert in US law but it sounds like you need a new lawyer! A court should not lose your papers. End of story. Don't just ask to see your file, ask for a complete copy of it. And then take it to another firm and get a second opinion.

Plantar warts can be a challenge to get rid of, suffice it to say the only way we finally got rid of the two on my son''s foot were to have then treated with a laser in his office. No other remedy was effective.

Try using clear nail polish. Keep applying a fresh coat over the old one for a few days. Then file off. Then apply again for a few days. Repeat. The nail polish will ''suffocate'' the wart and is easier to use than duct tape.

salycidic acid all the way. My bro tried everything else for his and they just kept coming back. He did the acid 7 years ago and hasn''t had a problem since.

I posted about plantar''s warts last Fall I think. I had two, one on the bottom of each foot, in exactly the same location...talk about weird...Anyway, the good folks here told me about duct tape and apparently that really does work in that it suffocates the wart until it totally dies. But it can take a long time with that method.

I ended up giving my usual approach a try and it did work. Dr. Scholl''s wart remover. One thing to note - I do not recommend using the "cushiony" pad that they include in that kit. It makes your skin surrounding the wart all white and waterlogged and nas-tay. I use only the tiny stick on dots with the salicylic acid on them and they work in about two weeks. Every time you change them, you file over the wart area and eventually, you will pull off that little sticky and the root of the wart will pop out with it. Et viola, done! Yes, they can re occur.

Unfortunately, I dont think they make a Dr. Scholl''s Deadbeat Husband Removal Kit...If they did, they''d make a fortune though...

Sheesh, I don''t which was more painful. The doctor scraping my foot with a razor just short of bleeding and chemically treating the stubborn wart, confronting the legal assistant who knew I was coming and had my file ready (she had accidently checked off the box regarding spousal support which is why I will now have to appear it court...she is such a DA), or scattering my father''s ashes.

Actually, the last one was the least painful and the most fun. My daughter was the lookout as I wanted to put my Dad in his favorite places, especially around the venue where my daughter is getting married. I''m not really sure it''s entirely legal

So here I am...Miss Hop-a-long, with her daughter, the lookout...trying not to draw suspicion while we talk to ashes. OMG, I think I have lost it.

Oh yeah, I tried the duct tape, and all I have to show for it is sticky spots on most of my shoes. Even with bandaids I just couldn''t get that tape to stay in one place. Craziness. It''s just embarrassing because I have to explain to my pedicure place, my massage therapist and my Pilates instructor...Please sanitize after me.

Speaking of inventions, my staff and I were talking about one of their friends who has a 14 year old daughter whom she discovered was skipping school to hang out with her 14 year old boyfriend. We talked about how devastated we would be to find this out and immediately began our invention session. We decided that an embedded chip would be the best. A sort of child tracking device. You would have to insert it in the skin when the child was young, or you risk your child turning into a "cutter" to evade your efforts. I proposed that the device pop up and out like Butterball turkey on the child''s 18th birthday.

I''m thinking there is serious potential in these ideas.

I had a nasty plantar''s wart frozen off. It took two treatments, but that was so much safer than my home treatments -- borne of frustration and often involving razors and other sharp objects. I think going to a podiatrist rather than my GP for the treatment was the key.

As for the plantar''s wart, I''m a bit late chiming in, but thought I would in case it helped someone else. I had one on my foot and tried a home remedy that I found on the internet, I bought some Apple Cider Vinegar from the supermarket, dipped a small piece of cotton wool (about the size of the wart) in the vinegar, and stuck the cotton wool over the wart with a bandaid overnight while I slept. The remedy suggested you do it continually day and night, but that was too gross (skin would have been yuck, and smelled) so I took it off during the day and let it breathe. I did this about 4-5 times and then forgot about it, it turned black and just vanished, I noticed it had gone after about 2 weeks after I first started. Hasn''t come back since.

LOL, that made me laugh out loud, big time. I guess I can be pretty random sometimes.
I can officially wear my tennis shoes now. I wore my tempurpedic slippers and jeans all week at work. I probably could have worn shoes, but I think I milked it a bit yesterday. It would be funny to have the wart and the husband, or the wart husband be healed at the same time. Poetic really....

Oh wait...it''s not really that random. I just remembered that I use a Diamancel foot buffer on the heels of my feet. Diamancel foot buffers are made with diamond dust...so there is a logical connection.
