Yanno, it is very different for us here.

I am an introvert (albeit an extroverted introvert so not as extreme as some introverts and there are varying degrees so that accounts I think for how we might all be feeling a bit differently about this situation) but this is not nirvana for me. I dislike having to stay inside so much. I am getting cabin fever. One reason I suppose to head to our beach house where there are less people so we can be outside more at least in our backyard. But I cannot go. I need to stay here in the same city as my parents. Just in case. So here we stay. Stuck in a big city that has the greatest Covid-19 infections. Greatly increasing our odds of getting sick. But we all have to make tough choices in life and I just hope this one doesn't kill us.

So yeah we have to do whatever we can to remain safe and be vigilant. But this situation is very different for me than our past "normal" introverted lives.


But thank goodness for internet and phones and being able to connect with our loved ones in a variety of ways despite not being able to see them in person.

And you are so right @Jimmianne- I do enjoy that one aspect as I hate unannounced visitors. So I guess there is a bright spot in everything. Though I would give anything to go back to the freedom and safety we all had before Covid-19 :/
