Canadian Diamonds - Los Angeles

Greetings,

I'm looking for a dealer or wholesaler here in Los Angeles that would carry Canadian Diamonds coming from a mining corporation that has a clean record of ethical practice, and has cut/polished their product in Canada. It seems that a lot of jewelry stores here do not really have anything to show in this category, and some have no idea what I'm talking about. I went to a dealer the other day and asked about Canadian Ice Diamonds, and they just gave me a blank look!

I'm from LA and advise you to look online. However, polished diamonds don't have provenance reports so you're dependent on what the wholesaler/retailer tells you (only rough diamonds come with provenance reports). Only about 10% of canadian diamonds are polished in Canada, the majority of the rest are polished in India. Contact some of the PS approved vendors to search for canadian diamonds - I know Good Old Gold has some.
