Canadian Diamonds. eh?

I am just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with a canadian certification? The reason I ask is, I am from Saskatchewan, and am looking into purchasing a diamond and setting. I have found one here, that is beautiful, but it has a canadian certification. Does anyone know about the canadian standards (vs GIA, etc)????

The major grading lab in Canada seems to be Gemscan but EGL, HRD, and GIA all have a presence. I’m sure there are also local labs just like everywhere else. Try using the search box at the top right corner for the name of the particular lab you are considering relying on. Labs are not all the same and accuracy of grading makes a big difference. Eh?
