when you look at a five stone diamond band (4 prongs style), would you be able tell the difference between 23mm and 23.75mm (the total width of 5 diamonds lining up)?
As far as the releative size difference: if you look at a metric ruler you will be hard pressed to find one that breaks down to less than a mm because a mm is relatively SMALL.
If you are comparing a 23mm ring to a 24 mm ring then the quick and dirty is it is something like 1/23rd larger or around 4% larger.
You might try cutting a 23mm strip of paper and a 24mm strip of paper to give you a visual of what you would be looking at.
outatouch0 thanks for your reply! I actually did cut out two strips of paper lol, and the difference is very minimum but i am not sure if the difference will be greater with diamonds because a 3D view is definitely different than a 2D view. I suppose not.
p.s.: i love your engagement ring, it's very elegant
