I bought this ring at an estate auction a few years ago. I was told that it was 1905 and is a "mixed cut" with each stone 0.9 ct, G/H, IF/VS2 in platinum setting. Both stones have a flat culet. I knew nothing about diamonds at the time and still don't! I do love it though but after being on ps a few weeks I got to wondering about it. Provenance is from the estate of Frederick Proctor, a prominent, turn of the century Houston judge (if you care about that kind of stuff). Thanks for any info you may have.

Also I am not sure that the files were attached properly. I will try again if I have to!

Very cool...you'll need to make that tumbnail of the straight on picture a full size picture for us to be able to tell you anything about the stones
(plus I want to see it in full size!)

It still looks small even when I check full size. Here is a pic I took. Please forgive how bad it is. New to bling photography. The easiest way to see it is the link to the auction: https://new.liveauctioneers.com/item/10537915

I downloaded a screenshot of it. Based off the front on, they both look like OECs to me based off the relatively round shape, kozibe, the central petals (looks like a nice small table) and those outer petals that look like a star
What's the profile of the stones like?
It's a lovely piece and it looks like you got it for a great price!

I can't help but I've always wanted a ring set with two stones like this. It is just lovely!

I need to learn how to upload the pics correctly. I am not sure why it repeated the photo so many times.

Anyway thank you for the info. Glad you think I got a good price. I am just happy to have a beautiful piece of history. Antiques are my first passion!

Wow nice! I love it with that contoured band you have shown.

Wow, it's got so much presence on your hand and I love it with your contoured band! It looks like both stones have a beautiful cut and clarity, which can be hard to find. Whenever I see a twin stone-type ring pop up for sale, it usually has one lovely diamond, and one disaster :P Nice find!

Beautiful ring...lots of finger coverage and its nice you know its provenance. I also think you got a good price!

Lovely and like your stack.
