I'm so glad that I have found this site. I've learned more about diamonds in the four hours since I found this site than I have in the last month of online research. I am hopeful that someone on here might be able to give me advice on where I could find a similar setting to the one shown below. I have searched the jewelry stores of Memphis and many online sites and haven't been able to find a ring similar to this one that my girlfriend is in love with. She loves this ring because it sparkles from all directions. She really likes the diamonds on the prongs and the basket, and this has been a very difficult trait to find in a ring. The ring shown is from M. Khordipour Enterprises (estatediamondjewerly.com). I wish that I could buy this exact ring, but $18,500 is definitely out of my price range. Thanks in advance for any help that any of you folks can give me. Look forward to learning from all of you great folks on this site.

You might think of having something similar made. Definitely check out Leon Mege. He is very skilled with pave settings and there are some very close to that on his site.

you can see pictures of rings he''s done for pricesopers here

From the photo you posted, it looks like the bottom of the shank is worn very thin.

As for your budget, perhaps a good idea, to say what that is.

What is the size of the center diamond in that ring, and the carat weight and quality of the other diamonds?

Then you probably will get some more meaningful responses.

Thanks for the quick responses. Here is a description of the ring from the M. Khordipour website....

1.52ct Platinum Engagement Ring
Elegant 1.52 carats diamond ring set in platinum mounting. Center stone is a fiery old European cut diamond. It is GIA certified and it is F color, SI1 clarity. The diamond is set in a platinum mounting which is encrusted with 48 smaller diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.60ct.

Try knoxjewelers.biz they have some pretty similar settings and good prices. I have never personally bought from them, but they have great feedback. Hope you find what you are looking for. Mokey

Leon Mage (www.artofplatinum.com) will run you around 3K for the setting in platinum with all that pave. A 1.5 center--- well that one is a European and an SI... but... What's your budget? I quickly looked up some interesting rounds in the 1.5 size. For that size diamond, if it's cut very well, and with the amount of pave-- if you want the ring in platinum, well, that's actually a decent price. *shrugs*
