Can you guestimate the color of these OEC studs?

These are inherited stones. They used to be in an two stone ring and my mom had them reset as earrings. We know nothing about these and my mom doesn't really care but i am curious. I have never seen any inclusions in them and i guess there around 1,10 tcw. What color do you think these are? They look like a creamy white to me. I have placed them next to a CZ in some pictures.

Given that most old cuts seem to be in the J-M ra2nge, and you say they appear creamy white, I would guess J-L.

Can you post a closer photo showing the faceting? They don't *really* look like OECs to me, and the profile shot shows larger tables and shallower crowns than I might expect. I am curious if they are more transitional in faceting.

Could be, unfortunately i can not get pictures any closer than this

No macro function on your camera? They do make a huge difference ....

Going off the photos, I'd agree with Dreamer, and guess a K-L, but getting hue right from a computer monitor is nigh-on impossible. Do you have any local jewelers who might have a master set around? It's not as good as getting them certed, but it should give you a ballpark ....

This is as close as i can get without getting out of focus wit my canon 600d. I don't really have a reweler around that i trust but it's ok. I enjoy wearing them and i won't sell them but I'm curious. They do seem to look more yellow in the pics, is that common?
