Hello,

I''m looking at a round brilliant diamond online, it only has the AGS certificate available. It s an AGS000, scores 1 in HCA.

Can I safely assumed that it is a beautiful diamond and purchase w/o any futher info?

Thanks!

Zeiss.

I doubt you could go wrong with AGS000. I guess it would depend how picky you are, but an AGS000 with a 1 on the HCA should definitely be a stunner!

It should be a lovely stone, do you have the proportions to post and an Idealscope image please?

Ditto.

In my opinion, they are not all created equal. However, any one would most likely be better than the vast majoriy of stones out there.

a) Make sure AGS000 (the term not used too much) is a current cert. If older (more readily identified as 000), you''re less protected, though the HCA 1 adds protection

b) Even for AGS0''s, Storm doesn''t like some. I''d be less picky.

c) I don''t know what protects you from Storm''s tastes, except to ask him.

Double Ditto, I have seen some AGS0''s (HOF) that left me underwhelmed.

I would say you''re looking pretty good with that diamond. I''d further take a look at all the specs and images to make sure they look good. Id also purchase the diamond and take a look at it yourself to make sure you like it. I just bought a AGS0 Ideal cut with a 1 HCA. I had another ideal cut H & A stone in my possesion to compare it to. WHen i didnt know which was which i couldnt tell the difference between the stones and im picky. The only way i could tell them apart was the color because they were both the same size.
