Can we talk about what sweet thing our SO has done for us lately?

It''s been a looooong week and I''m really cranky. Really, really cranky. I just got home and DH is gone for the evening to a meeting. I walked into this. It makes the whole day brighter!

So on that note, what sweet thing has your SO done for you lately?

My DH is also great at the moment-I finished my exams this morning and he had bought my favourite alcohol and treats for me and he took me out to dinner as a surprise.

My hubby planned a surprise date night the evening before Mother''s day. He had his sister babysit our kids, and he took me to my favorite seafood restaurant (he does not like seafood), and then we had VIP tickets to a stand up comedy show (which I love!).

Awww April, that is just so sweet, what a wonderful thing to come home to. That was just so thoughtful of your dh.

Hmm, can''t think of anything particularly nice my husband has done lately, dang it! Maybe over the weekend...

There is nothing sweeter than being taken to your favorite restaurant when your SO HATES it. Sooooo thoughtful and sweet!

BF agreed to take care of all of the animals while I run off to the beach this weekend to spend time with friends.

AND (and this is the big one) he requested both Saturday and Sunday off next weekend so we can celebrate our birthdays and really get some time together. I''m so excited! I almost never get him for two days in a row.

There pair a set of pots (a dutch oven and sauté pan) I wanted that got discontinued. I found one, but not the other. My FI called around during his busy work week, found one, and picked it up and gave it to me as a gift. He said the meals I cook are worth the investment.

All the potty water in my basement, I didn''t have to touch it. DH brought every last thing outside and disposed of anything yucky so all I had to do was sort the top layers of dry stuff.

The simplest things really are unforgettable, what a doll he is!

My hubby got off work at 8 am on Mothers Day and drove to San Diego, (about 100 miles) to pick up a kid and bring him home for the day. Frankly, the rest of the day sucked, it took extra long to get him
and get home, and the day was kind of messed up, but what thoughtfulness. I loved that he would do that for me.

My SO has been scouring Etsy to find me a jewelery-esque present to take with me on my trip. He sent me about about 20 links today trying to scope out a ring for me...it was so sweet and made me really happy, and it makes me not even care what the heck he picks.
