Awww you are such a doll! What state do you live in? I will have to check out your painting thread and give you some advice....
That would be awesome! I''m in the Denver area. If you can recommend any local stores for art supplies, that would be awesome too.

kittybean- I had no idea you were in the Denver area! We just might have to meet up someday. OOO! That means my Tiffany is your Tiffany store too!

It's pretty small compared to some, isn't it? That's ok though because I still LOVE IT! I'll bet you know who my favorite SA is in there (I talk about her all the time) If I don't get sick, then I plan on going this weekend.
31.gif
I'm currently falling in love with another engagement ring settings that they have (that I never paid attention to before because the price was so high) I wish I could try it on with S there too...
9.gif
I'll probably go there Saturday.

I have this thing about rings- I need to be able to close my pinky finger comfortably against my ring finger or it DRIVES ME NUTS!!! So I'd know right away after trying a ring on if I even like how it feels too.....I also like thinner bands and especially around the diamond itself because some bands are overwhelming of the diamond and I feel it takes away from it. You know?

Yesterday, they sent me a rather large catalog with a personalized letter from the Director (from our store) I was so excited about it! I've never gotten one of those before. It isn't the Blue Book because favorite SA is holding one for me..Sure did make me feel special! What other store would do something like that? Holly Golightly was right- Nothing bad could ever happen to you in (or from) a place like that!

For some reason I thought you lived north of Denver. Your in the Denver area ams? I don''t know why I thought like somewhere in the mountains. Maybe it was because of your inspiration board. Then again, maybe I read it somewhere.

I''m going to TIFFANY tomorrow!!! Picking up the Blue Book and going to try and look at some sparklies!

I live about 20-25 mins north of downtown...Thornton. Not too far from denver though. I do work downtown.

So I went to Tiffany!!!
36.gif
I tried on the Round Brilliant with Tapered Baguette setting again.
27.gif
I just HAD TO because it's been on my mind lately. I'm IN LOVE with this setting!!!!!!!! Yay for dream ring #2!!!!!! Anyway, I posted the whole story over in LIW if you wanted to read about it.

I also am planning on creating a poll (with this setting and wedding bands going with it that I did in photoshop) because I really have no idea which wedding band would look best with that setting and I am determined to find out! I just can't get the poll to work and the admins' haven't answered me back yet about how I can get it to work. Maybe it's this computer. I'll try at home and see if it will work.

I decided to buy myself a 1.50ct amethyst pendant from Tiffany!!! I saw it months ago online and fell in love with it. I saw it at the store on Saturday and loved it even more. It was over S and my $200 budget so I debated if I should buy it for myself or not. Well, finally today I decided I needed to get this for myself after everything that's happened this past year. I deserve a little self gift! I called Tiffany and they are already out of it in our store. So they ordered it for me from another store and are sending it to my house with it's very own red Christmas ribbon by Christmas. I can't wait to share photos once I get it!!! Yay!!!! (I've never bought myself a Christmas gift before...)

I''m talking to myself over here but that''s ok. If anyone was interested in my poll I was going to create, I made it but without the poll. I''d love your help link here

Hey, Dreamgirl...just read your story and you have me bawling with your story of your puppy...sniff, sniff. You sound like such a sweet person. I hope your dream wedding happens soon!

Hi Steph! Thank you very much for the well wishes.

I didn''t mean to make anyone cry when I wrote about my little one...but I couldn''t help but cry myself while typing it. It''s really hard not having her around whenever I have a bad day. If you''ve ever had a dog- then you know what I''m talking about. They are always there for you and they don''t judge you. I''ve thought about another dog someday but not anytime soon.

I remember when we first got her- I always loved the movie The Wizard of Oz. And because of that, I loved Dorothy''s dog Toto. I wanted a ''Toto'' dog so bad. My Mom decided I could get a dog if I did all these chores and good deeds. She created a chart for me and everytime I did something good, she put a star sticker on it. I had so many stars to go before I reached the top and then I was able to get a doggie!!!!

She took me out one day after my chart was filled to go look at a puppy. She saw it in the paper and she told me they were miniature schnauzers. She told me they are like Toto dogs but not Toto dogs. My Mom had called and the lady told her that they had only 1 female left. (We wanted a female) so we had to hurry out there to take a look. So.......we get there and the lady selling the puppies took us out to her backyard to take a look. So there were the schnauzer puppies playing around and here came (my soon to be pup) and started to chew on the lady''s sandal. The lady said "Well, this is the female!" and my doggie ran over to the others and was so wound up. I fell IN LOVE with her immediately. She was so teeny tiny. Small enough to fit in the palm of an adult''s hand.
30.gif
So we took her in the lady''s house and my Mom filled out some paperwork while I played with my new puppy in the livingroom. To this day, my Mom and I say my doggie was the last female left because she was so ''wild'' haha! But we loved her so much. She was such a good little dog. Very smart and oh-so-funny. She had a witty sense about her that would crack you up. I think she enjoyed entertaining us. Anyway, we took her home and gave her a bath and guess what the first thing I did with her was? We watched The Wizard of Oz together...

Here she is with her cute little button nose from her first winter in her little blue sweater. She was a very dark salt/pepper when she was a young puppy...

Together when we were young (I was 8. She was probably 6 months...)

mylittleone2.1.jpg

I was probably 11 or 12 here. So she was around 3 or 4...you can see how the salt/pepper changed as she got a little older.

This was a doggie/owner look alike contest we entered. We got 3rd place! And at this event, we had to walk around in a circle with other dogs and their owners in front of the judges. Well, of course....my sweet little angel decides to take a pee right in front of the judges when we got in front of them...haha!

This was in '04. Our last Christmas together before she passed on July 14, 2005 (4 days after my birthday.) So I guess I was 23 here and she was 15...
Wow, seems like yesterday.

What a cutie! I love mini schnauzers.

Awww, she was such a cutie. Thanks for the pics!

Awww Dream! Your pup was beautiful. What a sweet face. I''m sure you know this

, but I also have a dog (Sophie) that I absolutely adore. She is my baby, so I completely understand what happens to your heart when you bring your puppy home for the first time. You sound like you were an amazing owner, even at 8 years old! Good for you! I just want to add (not that you don''t already know this) but you ought to take pride in knowing that you gave your pup such a good life. 15 years is an amazing accomplishment for a dog, and you had a lot to do with that.

Thank you for sharing these with us. These photos are wonderful!

You''re adorable, btw!

You are too kind! I'm glad you like the photos! I'll post more sometime. Keep checking back or I'll also let you know!

lol my hair is TOTALLY not like that at all right now. It's so much shorter like a bob and straight (that was a wave perm...because my hair is as thin and straight as a piece of paper! Well, not that bad but...you know. lol)

Me on a walk with S last summer....2008. My hair is pretty much the same (it's pinned back on top here.) Same style anyway. Sometimes a touch shorter, sometimes a touch longer...

Oh, and you can see my Madeline Coach handbag on hand...

We spent a lot of last summer going to parks and lakes to walk around and 'scout out' fishing spots. S is from Minnesota so he loves fishing. (Catch and release of course!) Otherwise I wouldn't participate...being a vegetarian and all. He's taught me how to fish. It's pretty fun but for all the times I've been fishing, could you believe I haven't caught a fish yet? haha! That's ok though because if I catch one...I worry so much that I'll hurt the little fellow. S says if I catch one, he will take the hook out of him. But still.....

I like switching out the lures to sparkly fancy ones and when I catch seaweed...I throw a fit like a girl and try to find sticks on the ground to get it off the hook. It's sickening! lol...S just laughs at me. And I always tell him....."HEY! Where else can you find a girl wearing Tiffany jewelry while fishing?"
31.gif
I like to think im a chic fishergirl. lol

Here's a photo of a nearby lake...looks like no fish here but a nice photo!

dgsumf208.jpg

lol This photo is CLASSIC! It cracks me up. Now for the record...this is NOT how we fish. But, there is this lake with the cutest itty bitty pan fishies that we found while walking around. So we were like "We wanna play with the little ones!" So S found an awesome stick after I magically found some fishing line with a tiny hook on it. We got so excited like a couple of little kids. We rigged it up like a couple of Huckleberry Fin's (so not me! haha!
20.gif
9.gif
) I happened to have peanut butter crackers in my purse that we used the peanut butter for bait. Then we just dropped it in the watter right in front of the little guy's and they would bite for S and of course....NOT for me. lol it was hilarious! He was like "You can't even catch little pan fishes when you have the bait RIGHT in front of their faces???"
3.gif
Well....apparently NOT!! lol

I don't know why this photo makes me laugh so much...it just does! With me in my little sun hat, crooked little stick in the water trying to catch pan fish, Tiffany jewels and Coach purse sitting up the hill from the lake. hahaha

HILARIOUS!

It was SO hot that day!

And of course my love S
4.gif
He caught so many of these little guys...I love his reacton to this fish. He was so excited like a little boy. Adorable! I can tell by the smile on his face. He's thinking "Hey there little friend..how are you today?!"
5.gif
lol

I absolutely love how gentle he is with the fishies when he catches them...
